The hottest boy in town!

So my kids are growing up too fast! Yesterday, I had to have Cassidy take a make up class for dance, so I asked her if she wanted to do Hip-Hop with Anna, or go to Breakdance with Morgan (her little friend her age). She said, "I want to go to Breakdance with Morgan, because he's the HOTTEST boy in town!"

She also tells us she is a "teenazea" (for teenager), and that she is seventeen!

All of them are growing up so fast, I can't stand it!

House For Sale!

I haven't blogged in foreve because the house is officially up for sale and I feel like all I do is straighten and follow kids around and pick up after them. I am scared for summer to come when they are all home, 24-7. If you are a pray-er, pray it sells soon! News since I last wrote: Caleb turned 10, Anna turned 8, I got released as activities director and got put in as Webelos Den Leader. We went on a fun trip to my brother's house, ans we had a great time with the kids, dragging them, and sometimes chasing them, through all the fun kid tourist-y places along the way. Caleb built an awesome misson for his 4th grade project and it turned out really cool. Anna got baptised a week ago and she is thrilled. Today is my birthday (who-hoo, so far I ate donuts and then scrubbed water spots off all the bathroom fixtures for when people see the house later today). Tobin turns one this saturday, and then Theron's birthday is a week later. Whew, there's your three months in a nutshell! I have no pictures to show, because my computer is grumpy and won't let me take them from the camera to computer. I have three months of pictures on there, so I better not lose my camera!

Croc Hunter

So, funny story, but first a little background. Cassidy has loved "Bindi the Jungle Girl" tv show for a long time. Before she could talk well, she called it "Bidi da ga ga ga". She just LOVES it. We have tons DVRed (is that a word?). Anyway, Bindi is Steve Irwin's daughter, and Steve is, or was, the Crocodile Hunter. On Bindi's theme song, one line is "The Croc Hunter taught her, now his only daughter..." So a few days ago, my mom started watching a little girl at her day care. She is about Cassie's age and they get along well. The only problem is that her name is Hunter, and Cassie calls her Croc Hunter, and doesn't realize it! It is so funny I can't even look at her when she says it. She can be so funny. It is a strange obsession at our house...Bindi, Croc Hunter, we all seem to watch them. Even family wrestle time has become Croc Hunter time. People jumping on each other, saying "Death roll! Jump on the tail mate! Whoo, she's a beauty!" WE may belong in a nuthouse, but it's pretty fun!!!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! (Well, a little early - I'm hoping you will be doing something way more exciting than reading my blog on the REAL Valentines Day!) Tobin's feet were supposed to look like a heart, or at least that's how I pictured it in my head before I did it..they don't really, but aren't they cute?

He wants to be a ballaweena

So Cassidy and Tobin were playing in their room. Cassie was happily dressing up in a bunch of costumes, and asked me to dress tobin in a little Bo-Peep dress. I told her he was so happy playing and he didn't want to dress up. Sloooowly the door closes... I got the camera because I knew this would be good! I went in after a few minutes, and Cassie told me, "He wants to be a ballaweena!" So funny. He was remarkably calm during the costume change, which I'm sure wasn't very gentle. I didn't hear a peep from him! I love these little guys!

First Tie

We were getting ready for church last Sunday, and Caleb dressed Tobin in a shirt and tie! Too cute. Then Caleb went and re-dressed himself so they could match - white shirts, brown pants, ties, etc. I'm so glad Caleb finally got a brother! Tobin is getting so BIG and OLD! I can't believe in under 4 months he will be a year. Where has the time gone???

Snow Day

We recently took the kids to Yosemite to play in the snow. We all had a great time! Tobin loved patting the snow with his gloves, being carried in the front pack almost constantly, but he didn't really like falling off the toboggan face first into the snow, TWICE, poor guy! Cassidy was grumpy until she discovered all the fun things there were to do in the snow. Her favorite: climbing up the big hill to where Daddy was, and watching the sledders. Anna crashed pretty hard her first try sledding, but we got her right back on and she did great. She loved making and throwing snowballs too! We didn't get any great pictures of Caleb because he was WAY too busy sledding, running, teasing, building sled runs, etc. Theron fixed up the sledding run we found, adding snow, removing snow, until it was a smooth run for the kids without the big bumps and bad spots that were making everyone crash. I loved sledding, but without snow clothes, I was SOAKED! It was totally worth it though. We are definitely going again next year!

Something New...

So, after much THINKING about doing this, here is our blog! My first thoughts of actually starting a blog were in October at my grandma's funeral. I saw so many relatives that I hadn't seen in sooooo many years. "Do you have a blog?" was the question I heard over and over, and I had to answer no. They all wanted to know about my kids, see pics, etc. Then I kept hearing about my friends blogs, so I thought I would try it out! Here goes...
